MEMORIES OF INDIA RESTAURANT
A NEW EXCITING EATING EXPERIENCE IN MILLNER

Chef and owner, Raj Ghotra with the support of Sunny and his wife Rosy has recently opened family business, Memories of India Restaurant and it has introduced Darwin’s diners to Indian cuisine not experienced previously in the Territory.

ENTREES

Tandoori Lamb Chops ($9.90) (2 pieces) Marinated lamb chops, grilled in the tandoor oven, tender, moist, bursting with flavour. Spicy; yet not overpowering.
Mushroom stuffed ($8.90) (4 pieces) Crisp, lightly deep fried in a chickpea flour batter, fresh, fleshy mushrooms, stuffed with fetta, onion and mild herbs; with just the mildest afterglow of heat.

Peri Peri Chicken ($9.90) (3 pieces) Succulent pieces of chicken beast coated in a fresh mint and chilli sauce and cooked in the tandoor oven. Again spicy; yet not overpowering and complimented by cubes of capsicum to refresh the palate.

All entrees were exceptional in flavour, texture and freshness.

MAINS

Chicken Tikka Masala ($18.90) The chicken was so tender, it literally melted in my mouth; fresh flavours of tomato, onion and capsicum combine with aromatic spices, to create a truly exciting dish.

Chicken Korma ($18.90) Again tender, moist pieces of chicken cooked to perfection in a rich cashew sauce; a subtle depth of flavour and creamy texture from the cashew sauce was really delicious.

Beef Vindaloo ($19.90) A Goan specialty. A rich, hot, spicy beef curry. The complexity of the flavours; together with the tenderness of the beef made this dish very enjoyable, as all the flavours and textures complimented each other.

Served with Basmati Rice ($4.00) and Garlic Naan bread ($4.00). As with the entrees, exceptional quality of produce, flavours, aromatic blends of spices and textures.
