Conveniently located in Bishop Street, Woolner, Trader Jacks Café and Grocer is a specialty and gourmet food grocer, incorporating a café. Situated near the overpass, this allows for easy access for visitors coming from either the Stuart Highway or Tiger Brennan Drive.

Trader Jacks is perfect for dropping in to or from work each day, yet also conveniently located on weekends – allowing for a more casual dining experience, and to buy the weekly groceries (with maybe a few little treats!)

With the assistance of 400 solar panels, Trader Jacks is the only retail food outlet in Darwin able to trade with a carbon neutral footprint. The store is designed to conserve energy in every aspect, from enclosed refrigeration, advanced air conditioning systems and use of insulated panels.

Trader Jacks offers a wide range of products, with a focus on clean living. There is an ever-increasing stock of gluten free, vegan, paleo, organic and other goods to suit additional dietary requirements; not to mention the added range of larger-sized food service lines, ensuring great value for customers.

Trader Jacks understands keeping fruit and vegetables fresh between “big shops” can be a challenge in the Top End and the fruit and vegetable section has recently been extended, to incorporate the wholesale division of the parent company. This allows for a greater movement of stock each week, ensuring maximum freshness of products for customers.

The relaxed and family-friendly open-plan café dishes up plenty of homestyle foods, with a focus on freshly made.
