Recently moving to a new home at 21 Vereker Street, owner of Humpty Doo Fitness Centre, Nikki Milton, says the new location next to Turbo’s Tyres means you could spend that waiting time for your car productively by fitting in a workout next door!

“The new location has a way better vibe and is definitely a more welcoming environment,” said Nikki.

Humpty Doo Fitness is Nikki’s second home and having two kids, that welcoming environment also means the gym is family friendly. A creche upstairs that operates Monday to Friday between 9.00am and 10.00am gives parents the opportunity to practice some self-care by either participating in a group class (including the Les Mills program) or working out in the gym area, featuring free weights, cardio machines and more. The gym offers flexible memberships and is open 7 days a week, from 5.00am Monday to Friday, Saturday 7.00am to 11.00am and Sunday 8.30am to 10.30am.

“We all know how hectic life can feel sometimes. Humpty Doo Fitness is a place where time and the outside world don’t matter for a little while.”

Nikki loves helping people achieve their goals for their bodies and says it’s never too late to start. Humpty Doo Fitness offers free personalised programs and reassessments for members, from beginners to seasoned gym bodies.

“I think it’s up to the individual. As with anything, you have got to want it for the changes you want to happen. Nobody can exercise for you. You either look after yourself or you don’t. There is no quick fix and no secret pill. It’s about hard work and not putting heaps of food and alcohol in your mouth, creating a calorie deficit. Eat less, work hard but always remember there is gym and there is life, there has to be a balance.”
