They’ll be there in your darkest hour

Florance Electrical

You’re in the middle of cooking dinner on
a busy night and the room falls dark.

The power’s gone out. Dinner’s half cooked, the kids are hungry and you’ve got work to do on the computer before morning.

It’s times like these we realise just how much we rely on power, and how quickly we need to get it back on.

Florance Electrical offers 24/7 emergency support to help in those times of need, in most cases restoring power in under an hour.

And arriving on time is their speciality – with customers given a convenient one-hour window to expect their electrician.

“Tradesmen tend to have a bad name when it comes to one, turning up and turning up on time and two, cleaning up,” says director Alex Florance.

“We pride ourselves on being punctual and always ensuring the job site is left the way we found it. If we can’t make it to a job on time, we will always call the client to ensure they are kept informed.”

Customers also have peace of mind knowing they’re engaging a locally-owned and operated business. Alex and his business partner Luke Picken have more than 10 years experience in the industry, first discovering their interest in electrical contracting during work experience at highschool.

It was there they decided to undertake apprenticeships and gain their trade certificates as licensed electricians.

“The ever-changing work environment, stability of the industry, the satisfaction of helping everyday people and contributing to the Territory economy is what keeps us going, along with building a future for our families.”

Alex and Luke are supported by their loved ones in the business too, including Luke’s wife Kassi working in administration and bookkeeping, and Alex’s fiancée Rhiannon taking care of the creative side of things. Along with apprentice Harrison, Alex and Luke hope to build the business into a well-known Territory company offering gold-class customer service.

“Our clients are our number one asset and we pride ourselves on treating customers and their property with the utmost care and respect.

“It’s entertaining too. Interacting with people from all different walks of life, there’s never a dull moment.”

Florance Electrical has been operating throughout the Darwin region for over a year now, servicing residential and commercial customers in Darwin, Palmerston and as far east as Humpty Doo.
Services range from basic lighting, power point, switch and phone line installation to TV antennas, electrical faults and fire safety and smoke alarms.

Customers also receive a free safety check valued at $180 with every call out, performing a thorough check of wiring to identify any potential hazards.

And for added assurance, every customer receives a detailed quote before any work begins so there are no surprise fees.

“Our team of electricians are punctual, professional and have a positive attitude to every job,” says Alex.

“We offer a lifetime guarantee on all commercial, domestic and industrial electrical work, demonstrating our commitment to customer service and high-quality standards that comply with all safety codes and requirements.”

Florance Electrical is offering a special promotion for ceiling fan replacement this month – just $150 to supply and fit a white, three-blade ceiling fan and wall control.
Alex and his team are regularly updating their specials and invite you to visit floranceelectrical.com.au for more information and the latest offers.
