Life sponsor Top End Training had a dynamic duo in sponsored bulls Monkey Do and Cochise. Both bulls proving they are not just a pretty face with Cochise, the 750kg dynamo bringing down Australian Bull Riding Champion Greg Deveraux in a 4 second battle of the wills.

Much like the Noonamah Rodeo, Top End Training started from humble beginnings as a small, family owned business. Right from the very beginning it was owner Bill Morrish’s vision to deliver practical, flexible, tailored, industry based training and assessment to Territorians.

Bill initially established Top End Training to provide contracted training and assessment services to Registered Training Organisations. His office was the back of his ute and his scope of delivery extended Australia wide. Bill became known in the Territory for his willingness to work with organisations to provide flexible delivery modes and timeframes to meet the demands of the job. Bill’s aim was to teach the ‘hands on’ skills that the workforce wanted and industries demanded.

As the business grew, it became Bill’s ambition to establish his own Registered Training Organisation. In 2008 this vision came into fruition with Top End Training opening its first training facility in Palmerston, Northern Territory with just a handful of staff to manage the operations. Today, Top End Training has 8 training facilities Australia wide and employs almost 100 staff. The growth and success of Top End Training is a result of a great team of employees who work together (and across borders) to deliver quality training services to industries. But success isn’t just about the work that this unique team deliver. Top End Training is founded on creating a workplace where the team is given the opportunity, support and a rewarding environment to work within.
