Alice Springs

Alice Springs is a remote town located in Australia’s Northern Territory which serves as a gateway for the country’s interior vast desert landscapes, popularly known as Red Centre.
Alice Springs known to locals as simply “Alice” is the heart of central Australia’s exhilarating destination with cavernous gorges, majestic mountain ranges, stunning desert landscapes, remote Aboriginal communities, and a unique pioneering history.

A thriving, adventurous outback center, Alice Springs is famous for the natural wonders including the famous MacDonnell Ranges, Larapinta Trail, Uluru, Kata Tjuta, Simpson Desert and the beautiful sights of adjacent Devils Marbles. The personality of the local people and traditional art of the region is as famous as the natural spots of the region.

Alice Springs became a famous tourist destination place in the early eighties, and since then the population has grown to about 28,000. The region has an abundance of underground water more than the Surface Water.

Alice Springs is located 1500 km from the nearest major city, Darwin to the north or Adelaide to the south.

MacDonell Ranges is one of the favorite tourist destinations in Alice Springs. In Hundreds of Kilometers on each side of Alice Springs, the stunning MacDonell Ranges are full of breathtaking views, hiking, scenic beauty, tracks, freshwater swimming holes, and camping spots. Simpsons Gap and black-footed rock wallabies are must to explore in the vast MacDonell Ranges.

TREKKING ON THE LARAPINTA TRAIL
This 139 long Larapinta Trail is divided into 12 sections with varying grades and terrain along the trail.

EXPLORATION OF GRANDEUR OF KINGS CANYON
The Kings Canyon is believed to be an ancient formation of red rock faces with dense palm forests. Located between Alice Springs and Uluru, the grandeur of Kings Canyon is must to discover in Northern Territory.
