Alice Springs is a remote town located in Australia’s Northern Territory which serves as a gateway for the country’s interior vast desert landscapes, popularly known as Red Centre.
Alice Springs known to locals as simply “Alice” is the heart of central Australia’s exhilarating destination with cavernous gorges, majestic mountain ranges, stunning desert landscapes, remote Aboriginal communities, and a unique pioneering history.
A thriving, adventurous outback center, Alice Springs is famous for the natural wonders including the famous MacDonnell Ranges, Larapinta Trail, Uluru, Kata Tjuta, Simpson Desert and the beautiful sights of adjacent Devils Marbles. Alice Springs is located 1500 km from the nearest major city, Darwin to the north or Adelaide to the south.
