Area Steel Construction is celebrating 25 years in business this year.

After Cyclone Tracy hit, Jeff Green moved to Darwin at fourteen years old to help his father with the rebuilding effort. Seeing the destruction that Tracy had caused motivated Jeff to ensure that structural integrity was at the forefront of his work, something that he continues to drive at Area Steel Construction today.

The company specialises in hot form fabricated sheds, houses, and carports, where heavy-duty structural steel is welded together, resulting in a significantly stronger structure, perfect for the cyclonic conditions of the Territory.

“Our constructions, stand the test of time, and the test of the Territory,” says Managing Director, Jeff Green, a qualified boilermaker of thirty-eight years.
