INDO PACIFIC MARINE

A multiple award winning, accredited living marine discovery centre located ten minutes walk from the city on the Darwin Waterfront, opposite the Darwin Convention Centre

The source of this superb exhibition are the animals, plants and organisms which are found in the waters of the Northern Territory, and the quality and professionalism of the display have been recognised by a number of prestigious awards received by the organisation over 40 years of operation.

The centre presents and features living coral reef eco systems that are isolated from the sea. These systems mirror the lives of the inhabitants of the fringing coral reefs rather than the coral reefs that abound in clear waters.

The centre offers both day and night time tours to allow the visitor to view the exhibition in all its stunning beauty.

Fully guided daytime tours are conducted at 10.45am , 12.00 and 1.30pm
One of the unique experiences is our evening program which feature the rarely seen phenomena of fluorescing corals, plants and animals.

The evening programmes involve an informative tour of the exhibition, and includes a four course seafood dinner featuring Wild Caught Barramundi, and locally sourced produce.

Saturday night is Barbeque night with Wild Caught Barramundi and Local Prawns This includes tour of exhibition, and a Seafood BBQ on our courtyard terrace overlooking Darwin Harbour.
